I made these paper beads from the info pamphlet from the JHayward Gallery In the Black Fantastic exhibition curated by Ekow Eshun. I love recycling paper and pamphlets into wearable art that reminds me of where I have been and I get to carry those memories aroudn my neck.

I have followed the work of three of my all-time favourite artists - Kara Walker, Wangechi Mutu and Ellen Gallagher for over twenty years in different shows and spaces in London and USA. To see them masterfully curated along with Lina Iris Viktor, Hew Locke, Rashaad Newsome, Chris Ofili, Nick Cave, Sedrick Chisom, Cauleen Smith, Tabita Rezaire was a pure delight which left me with goosebumps and enjoying every angle and detail.
